Amp Installing Question

I am fitting my amp this weekend, and realize I have a couple of what may be really dumb questions, so hopefully someone can answer them for me.

1) My amp has speaker level inputs (no RCA outputs on HU) if I choose to use the speaker level input's where should I ground the input too? The lead is only about 5 inches long from the amp side of things.

2) If I go the other way and pick up a line out convertor, do I need to run 2 sets of RCA's as it's a 4 channel amp? (it has 2 inputs, front and rear) and does this mean I will need two line out convertors? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Thanks.

1) Yes, If you don't ground it will not work.

2) Not necesarily you can purchase a 'Y' adapter .The 'Y' (1 male to 2 male) means that you will be unable to control the Fade between front and back.

a. You can purchase a Hi-Low converter with 4 outputs. Then you will have to run the RCAs to your amp.

Thanks. I am probably going to go with using the speaker level inputs, just was debating running 2 sets of RCA's through the car instead of 8 speaker wires.
