Amp install help

So im trying to install a 200 watt 4 channel amp for my component speaker set up i have up front i currently have a 1600 watt z edition 2 channel amp installed in the back and i got 2 12" kicker subs hooked up to it i ran the wiring from The front to speakers to the back where i was gonna mount the new amp i hooked up the amp to the power, ground, and the remote cable i conected the speaker cables to the designated areas and i ran the rca cable to the output ports from my 2 channel amp but i dont get any audio from the speakers all i get is static any ideas ehat i did wrong?? Also after i turn the car off and the radio goes off my subs make a popping noise any idea what thats all about any help would be great thanks...
