what about the remote wire? is it ok to "link" it from one amp to another like in the pic?

I mean, it's acceptable. Not terrible; I've seen much worse. The bass knob mounting is retarded, but all in all, it looks alright. I'd suggest scraping the paint behind the ground. More screws aren't necessary- the big deal is how much contact there is between the metal and the lug your ground wires are in. The screw is just there to hold it tight.
