Amp in Protection Mode!?

My amp was blowing fuses for a bit then today i decided to try again and put new fuses in they blew then i tried again they didnt blow but the amp has the thermal light and the protect light and the protect light would blink on and off every so often? Any suggestions?

look in the amps manual i bet it blinks in a spacific order(telling you a code you can look up and see whats wrong) with the thermal light lighting up id say you fried it tho.

I have never heard of an amp that does this

 
its a RF P5002 bridged to a older 12L7 i baught the system from this guy a few months ago its been working fine except for one day i had on my song and decided to bump it a little louder then i should it and the fuses blew.

 

hifonics is a cheap *** brand, I'm sure many others use this same feature i just cant list off any iv owned, all the amps iv thrown into protect have never turned off lol, and it was always a solid light. if its blinking theres a good reason for it. and fyi ANY time iv seen a thermal light on is ether as the amp throws it into protect(with the thermal light flashing for a split second right before it shuts down and goes to protect) or when it stays lit iv seen that three times and never seen the amp working again, had one guy send it one in, it was like 250 to fix it and you can get the equivalent new amp for half the price. i think you blew the amp imo

yes thats what it does what i put in bold so what do i do from here ?

 
i think thats how the sub is wired im not totally sure since idk much about ohms i baught the sub and amp in perfect working condition months ago and before i ever put the system in my car i took the sub out to see how it was wired and i think it was 2 ohm.
