Amp in protect.

I have a cadence 4 channel TXA-300.4 which is currently in protect mode.

It is hooked up to my alpine type e components right now.

I recently took out my box and amp on to make a few cosmetic tweaks. In the mean time i wired my harness to factory mode with highs running off the HU. I was having problems with it cutting out like that, i checked my twist and tape connections over and over and they seemed perfect but the music kept cutting out and not coming back.

I then decided to grab my amp and hook it back up to the highs by twisting and taping the speaker wires coming from the amp to the HU harness. Now when i turn on my headunit i get music for about three seconds then the music stops. I can turn it off and on and get three seconds out of it each time it is reset. The amp has the protect light on, all my fuses are fine and all wires behind the HU are taped off. . I have checked my ground and power wire and they seem connected properly. Any suggestions on wtf is wrong?

my amp is no longer in protect but my music cuts out very harshly when i apply throttle.

This happened even when my amp was not running my highs. That makes me think it is something beyond the ground. Could i have bothered a short to the point it became a dead short?

Check the coils on all of your speakers... If one of them is fried it would sent the amp into protect because the impedance would be to high.

I don't see any paint scraped away from your grounding point so that is NOT a good ground. check the amp's voltage with a multimeter. I mean the ground is bolted to something that is bolted to painted metal

okay im just going to drill thru the frame for a new ground. Secondly im getting ground loop, whine and cutting out from only my left speaker. The connections are soldered perfectly. I only have problems when the engine is accelerating.

Very weird.

Amp is no longer in protect but i have other problems still.

awful noises coming from my left speaker only?

RCA feedback through just one side of the cable maybe?
