I'm kind of confused on whether I'm supposed to use the internal amplifier from the HU when setting your gains? and if i leave it on or off after im done?

Also what do you guys set you High pass filter at on your HU for your rears and fronts?

nothing to do with your gain except if you're using a high/low level converter.

Set the hpf to around 80hz +/-. Try it and if the bass distort at high level, if so

try higher

Fronts are about 75HZ at the amp, rears are 80 HZ at the head unit. Right now Im pretty much using the head unit to cross over my rears which are run off the head unit and not amped, otherwise they are the first thing in the system to distort when I crank the volume. Everything else is set at the amps.

Only necessary to use one set of crossovers. If you're doing it at the amp, then set the head unit x-over to full. If you do it on the head unit, either turn off the one on the amp or turn it as high as it will go.
