ok i have a question thats going to sound stupid probably is , but bear with me!! if your amp has 0/1 power and Ground u have 0/1 going into the power and 4 gauge Ground grounded to the chassie //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif . Can this cause the amp to get hot ??

im thinking maybe the power is getting built up and make it get hot because its only getting really warm above the power inputs side the other parts of the amp arent really getting hot at all . and its not getting so hot i can't touch it but it pretty warm leaving my hand on it for about 15 sec and i need to take it off and can put it right back on it for another 15 secs and repeat. anyone have any input on this ????

im waiting on more 0 gauge cable to come in the mail . so if noone has any input on it i'll just change out the ground cable and see if it corrects the problem

I believe you should be fine as long as the ground is short and your not running a 3kw amp or so. The reason the power needs to be big is if you run it from the front to back. But 4gauge for only a couple feet is fine unless its a Huge amp
