I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty and am slowly working on it to make it a show rig but it has a long way to go. Anyway I have a set of Infinity Reference 6030cs to replace the front speakers. I got the Jeep new with the 6 speaker system and will be picking up a set of Infinity Reference 6032si for the rear doors.
From what I understand by using the components in the front and coaxals in the rear the amp will see a 2 ohm load in front and a 4 ohm laod in back if I understand correctly.
I have an aftermarket Jensen VM8023HD Head unit in the Jeep for now but eventually will get a better head unit. It will not run a 2 ohm load. I am also running a small 10" infinity sub in a ported box in the rear thats getting if I remember right 250-300 watts RMS.
I am looking to build a clean sounding system "think rolling concert hall" or at least as close as possible. I need advice on what power rating and brands of amps you would reccommend for the door speakers. The sub is being run off of a JL audio amp, not sure off hand what model. I listn to everything from club and techno to country and everything in between but I doubt that makes any difference.
