amp help????

i have an mtx ta920001. it keeps on going into short mode. i checked the wireing on the sub and it looked ok. i have a volt gauge hooked up to it and it read 14.4 for a while then on heavy bass hits it would cut out, then it read (1.) for a while now it reads nothing. any ideas? ive never had voltage problems before could it be a voltage drop?

(i just redid my ground)

make sure new ground is good n tite.

ohm load may be too low
