Crossfire BMF 1000d

Goodbye!
I need you guys to put your way back hats on for a second..... Does anyone remember the Crossfire BMF 1000d running a tad bit warmer than usual? I ask because I ran mine today for about 1.5 hours on a 4 ohm final load at low volume, and it got warmer than I thought a Class D should get. It wasn't too hot to touch, but it wasn't cool either.

It plays fine, but I was a little concerned as to why it ran warmer than I thought it should.

Now that I think about it, that amp ran no hotter at 4 ohms than it did at 1 ohm... For some reason I was thinking that 4 ohms should have been a little cooler to the touch.

On the other hand, that BMF 1000d has to have one of the worst built-in crossovers I have ever encountered. The Coustic XM6 that I paid a whopping $15 for is light years ahead of the built-in Crossfire Xover!
