Hey guys, I'm looking for an amp to power a pair of Alpine 17SPX-REF front component speakers.. They are 75w rms, 225w max each. How much power should I be pushing to them each? I'm think about going for 125w or so, but I'm still new to components.. I don't wanna spend more than about $150, give or take, for the amp.. what do you suggest?
I'm gonna throw a pair of db571 coaxials in the back for rear fill, and I was thinking about just powering them off the Headunit, it's a Clarion CX609..
I'm a little confused on how to power these door speakers, should I go with a 4 channel and power all the speakers, or just a 2 channel and just amp the front components? I've heard you can even amp both the front and rear with just a 2 channel.. or does it even matter..? I will probably fade the rears out anyways..
Please help me out guys.. share the knowledge! lol..
