I am getting 2 12" Kicker Comp VR's (4 ohm) and i was wondering what amp to get for $200 or under. I have some questions about amps that i dont understand. Now if i buy an amp thats a mono amp say a Hifonics BX1000D and its rated at 500x1 into 2 ohms or 1000x1 into 1 ohm do i have to run the 2 ohm load? and would i only be getting 250 watts to each sub? Also, can i get 2 ohm subs and wire them into a 1 ohm load that way they would be getting 500 watts a piece? Help please...thanks

So if i went with say a kicker 400.1 or 600.1 would the subs be getting 400 0r 600 watts to each or 200 or 300 to each. They are 400 rms and i want to make sure they get enough power. So basically what im trying to ask is that if an amp get say 600 watts x1 at 1 ohm then do i get 600 watts to each or just 300?

Those amps are too much for me. I want something in the 250 and under range. Im thinking about just going with a 600.2 or something or should i just go with the 600.1 and run it 1 ohm?

You can Run them all parallel for 1 ohm they're dual 4ohms the ones you got, so that amp would push 600 rms into each @1ohm 200rms over the rated, but they probably will handle it.
