Lately my amp has been goin into protection mode. It mainly goes when I start hittin low and really fast like in Lil Jon's - Put your Hood up and in bass testers. When it does it, I either have to kill my engine or just turn my radio off for about 5 minutes. It normally doesnt do it unless ive been thumpin for about an hour or more. And the amp is hot as hell, like literally beyond being able to hold my hand to it. Just a couple other things, I may have my RCA cables crossed (this just hit me as I was writing it) and my crossover may be set a little high, around 90-100. Ive already gotten a couple answers to this but I just want a couple other people's opinions. And if they do come up the same, I need a little bit of elaboration on how to fix it from what I was told the first time.
