amp goes into protection mode

Ok so my amp goes into protection mode, So when I turn the ignition on just to turn the stereo on and it sometimes work but when I turn the engine on it goes into protection mode on. And the sub also makes a 1x pop sound when I turn stereo off and a 1x pop sound when I turn stereo on. hopefully its the amp as I want to upgraded since it s 4 years old and use it everyday

What amp? What subs? What ohm load? And get rid of the capacitor

Remove Sub wiring from sub amp. Test Ohm load with DMM of the sub final impedance.
