amp gain and sub compatible?

also could a bad amp earth cause this low loudness? for example if it is only just enough earth for the amp to recognize it as being safe to power up but isnt a very strong connection?

also my car is a hatchback so it has no boot its just open to the roof, usually in a boot the sound echoes which makes it sound louder and better in my opinion...???

Also should I use loudness setting?
Off

Not likely, but if you're questioning your ground, just change it. It's usually way louder in a hatchback.

also my lpf is set to 80hz in subwoofer settings then my hpf for speakers are set to 100hz, does this mean 81-99hz will be missing?
Yes, to a degree.

Just take it to a shop or have a friend who knows what they're doing take a look and tweak it.
