Amp fuses

i'm using the alpine mrp-m350, which has an amp fuse rating of 2x20, on crutchfield it says that it would need two fuses?? The wiring kit i got is the knukonceptz 8 gauge wiring kit with a 50 amp fuse on it, will this work out fine or did i mess up?

you didn't screw up yet....

I think that 50 amp fuse is for your inline fuse for your power wire that you will be running to the amp. The amp already has 2, 20 amp fuses in it, so this 50 amp one is for the power wire and you put that about a foot or so after the battery.
