guy fell through on the deal....otherwise i would have. regardless, the bxi1606d will do pretty **** close to the same as the nine.1 it seems like....1206 would be just a little less

I just sold my Kenwood kac x 811 d and it ran great for me @ 2 ohms, sold it to upgrade to a bigger amp.

I used to run one, ran it at 1ohm daily for well over a year, only shut off when i really worked it hard.

It really is a decent amp for the money, I would reccomend it.

There are usually some sundowns floating around for good prices in the classifieds. I know Jacob has a couple for sale directly from him on the sundown forums.

jacob sold all his, otherwise i'd have taken one and dropped the tc3k and gotten a tc10oem. im still thinkin of doing that though. depends if i can find a 1500d for cheap.

sundown 1500d (900x1@2 ohms - $400ish, slightly used) vs. US Amps MD.23 (1000x1@4 ohms bridged - $250 BNIB).......any reason NOT to take the US Amps one?

sundowns out....2 diff ones available for less than 250 that ive found...

nine.1 - slightly used - $230 - about 6 months left on 3 year warranty

MD.23 - BNIB - $250 - probably no warranty, have to check with seller

what do you guys think? us amps or eD? only reason for the dilemna is cause eD puts out more power. if they were both equal i'd take the us amps in a heartbeat.

ps this is officially powering an OEM 10" now from TC Sounds.

eD amps are nice man, and are rated at 12.5 volts, expect more power out of it (1200x1)

sry i should clarify....

the sub can be either 2 ohm or 4 ohm. ill choose based off the amp.

the us amps would run bridged and do 1000x1@4ohms. ive heard these are quite underrated but im not entirely sure.

the eD would run normal and do 900x1@2ohms at 12.5v. i would assume about 1000w at 14.4v.

so if theres any difference between the two....it wont be audible in terms of output. they should really both be about the same. i no a 4 ohm load is easier on an amp...but doesnt bridging an amp make that load just as hard on the amp? im not all that concerned about the warranty...eD's runs out a month or two from now. the us amps doesnt have one but has been turned on and works. i would assume the us amps quality is gonna be much better...but the nine.1 is workhorse. so each side has its own advantages. based off of this stuff that i've just added, what would you choose?
