amp for tc 3000 sub <$200?

i need an amp for a tc sound 3000 sub....im hopin to spend less than 200 bucks...im on a really tight budget. what do you guys recommend? i was hopin for at least 900 rms. im thinkin the sub will probably at 2ohms?

this thread is now for an amp below $250 to power a TC Sounds OEM 10" Sub.

 

here is a copy of the last post, and the one i must make my decision off of.

eD nine.1 - slightly used - $230 - about 6 months left on 3 year warranty

US Amps MD.23 - BNIB - $250 - probably no warranty, have to check with seller

what do you guys think? us amps or eD? only reason for the dilemna is cause eD puts out more power. if they were both equal i'd take the us amps in a heartbeat.

u have a nice sub, no point in getting a cheap amp for it. I suggest u save up instead of wasting money on a cheap amp. Just my .02

I just sold my Kenwood kac x 811 d and it ran great for me @ 2 ohms, sold it to upgrade to a bigger amp.

i would maybe look into a used/refurbished kicker amp.. YOu need power at kinda a wierd ohm load (1.4 if i remember right).. kicker is stable to 2 ohm (1 on a good elec. system) and after imp. rise, etc. you should be golden!

ill raise my budget to 250.....how bout an eD nine.1? they seem to be no-bs amps that get the job done real well? i can get one for $250 shipped used. what do you guys think?

yeah off of ebay....seems to be pretty good stuff? ngsm recommended them to me. probably gonna get the 1206d, but 1606d is only $35 more so i might just stretch and get that for an extra 200 watts rms @ 2ohms and more at 1 ohm.

guy fell through on the deal....otherwise i would have. regardless, the bxi1606d will do pretty **** close to the same as the nine.1 it seems like....1206 would be just a little less

I just sold my Kenwood kac x 811 d and it ran great for me @ 2 ohms, sold it to upgrade to a bigger amp.

I used to run one, ran it at 1ohm daily for well over a year, only shut off when i really worked it hard.

It really is a decent amp for the money, I would reccomend it.

k im still debating...theres that thread goin on the hifonics stuff crappin out. so nine.1's back on the list, along with a sundown 1500 if i can find a way to get it cheap enough...
