Amp for svc dcon

How the he ll is he supposed to run a SVC 4ohm sub @2ohms Mono??At least thats what I thought I read in the opening post.That Alpine 500, will be around 200 approx rms @4ohms..Id recommend looking at some Old school Power houses for cheapies!!US Acoustics USX 800F Amplifier by ZED Audio | eBay

Would an mb quart ref1.800 300 rms at 4 ohms be good are they under or over rated???

The should do rated rms, however the boston amp is way more better. Look at it this way, if you upgrade your system later you can use it to power a component set for your front stage.
