Hey guys. I've got two issues:

1) I'm looking for an amp to go with two 12" Rockford Fosgate P2L's. They're rated at 500w RMS x 1 CH @ 4ohms.

2) The single 12" Rockford Fosgate P3L is rated at 500w RMS x 1CH @ 4ohms too. Which subs do I go with?

Thanks a bunch.

I was leaning towards the single P3L and a Pioneer amp that pushes 400w RMS @ 4ohms. I would rather the sub be a little underpowered to increase it's longevity, correct?

My other option would be having two 12" P1L's rated at 300w RMS to go with a Rockford amp that pushes 320w RMS @ 4ohms.

What do you think? Thanks.
