amp for RE SE 12's

what amp would you run with 2 re se 12's?

trying to keep the amp under $300 if possible.

I have the same question. I have been told that a DLS CAD-11 would be good. a local shop reccomended US Amps xterminator 2000D, but I found out that the SE's may be under powered by this amp.

I was planning on putting my RE 35.1 on 2 SE's, It should push them to their potential with no problem.

Thats choice is good, I had 750watts to each sub and they took it fine. Id say anything from 1200~1500watts will do the job...

I've got a Hifonics 1606d on my RE SE 12's, and they pound. The amp puts out 12-1300rms, but if you have the money, I'd personally go for the 2006d myself, it should be putting out about 15-1600 and that'll be perfect for them. Don't get me wrong, they're LOUD, but I'd rather have a bit of headroom to upgrade in the future if I needed to.

The Hifonics 1500d, orion 1200d, RE 12.1, etc will all power them just fine BTW.

I WOULDN'T recommend the us amps exterminator series though, for some reason they're extremely overrated FYI

Good choices above...

I had an ED NINe.1 on mine, they will take more than rated power so note that. Again 1500watts will most defiinately get them moving...
