I don't know if you do the Ebay thing or not, but I've seen a few sellers with really good feedback records selling the Alpine PDX 2.150 for $250 shipped, sometimes a little less.

That amp would be PERFECT for your CMX's.

they seem to put out a lot of power too, is that 150wrms x2 underrated or overrated?

would the alpine be better than the eD nine.2??

I just ordered an eD NINe.4 for my 265's, they are $245.00 (only $15 more then the nine.2)and put out 150x2 @ 4ohms bridged (at 12.5v).

EDIT: Looked at that Alpine amp and if you can get it for $250.00, that looks like the way to go, its Class D so effecient and small, and retails for $400.00. If I didnt already have a NINe.1 powering my sub I would have gone with that Alpine PDX.
