Amp for Old School Subs?

thats not left/right, it's positive negative. bass is recorded as mono lol
you wire the subs either in parallel or series to achieve a different impedance which is then wired to a mono amp (which are made for subs, they are more efficient)
better try listening to something other than rap. bass is not recorded as mono. LOL. Listen to some pink floyd , the doors , led zeppelin , black sabbath.

listen to some dubsteb and tell me if all the bass is mono then. LOL. the actual main bass kick may be mono but i guarantee you the effects that get in the sub 80hz range are not strictly mono.
I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was just saying how old that music was.

So I am about to buy an amp and stereo to power these subs in my car, and I am a total noob at this so I was wondering if a Sound Ordnance M-1350 Sound Ordnance™ M-1350 Mono subwoofer amplifier — 350 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com for an amp and a JVC Arsenal KD-A525 JVC Arsenal KD-A525 CD receiver at Crutchfield Signature would work for a stereo. The amp has preamp inputs and the JVC has preamp outputs, and that's about all I know. Any advice? I don't want to spend $250 for parts that aren't compatible.
