Amp for my L5's?

I have two 12 inch dual 4 ohm L5's, I have been told by a few friends that I should get the Kicker ZX1000.1 amp, and then I was also suggested to get the SX1250.1 amp. Which amp would you suggest, and at how many ohms should I wire it, also I have 2 ga wiring for them. My friend suggested buying a cap to help power everything, and after I had already bought the cap I was told I didnt need one. I drive an 06 Ford 500 so the battery is in perfect condition, any help on those two questions would be greatly appreciated.
