Amp for AQ hd3 12

What is the minimum power I should put to this sub? I have looked at an ed nine.1, and old RF power bd1001 and a very nice old SS Ref 1000. I am sure each of these would get me to around 1000 rms but will that be enough to get the most from the sub?

It is a dual 4 btw

What other suggestions are out there? Looking at $2-250.

pretty good. just got it installed this weekend and its doing a good job in my car.

EDit - NVM you need power at 2 ohms

Kicker 750.1 used.

The eD does rated power and then some..

But I was going to say the same thing. It's 2 ohm power. So, kicker 1500.1 is the least I'd put to it.

Yea... the eD will probably do over 1000 at 2 ohms... might be the best choice, but is 50 out of your budget??

Used 750.1 will do around 900 on most birthsheets
