Amp Settings

I have two 12inch Cerwin Vega's V-max new 08's with a sealed box wondering what the setting for the amp should be? I have a Hifonics BXi1208D amp..... ran at 1 ohm

Subsonic 15Hz to 35Hz (I have it to it's lowest 15Hz)

Low Pass 35Hz to 250Hz ( I have it set to around 100Hz I think, little less than half way)

Has a Phase Shift (thats set to 0)

Bass EQ (Variable Bass Boost)

Level (allows you to match the amplifier input level to the radio output level)

I have a stock headunit due to Onstar and so forth, so I just have the RCA module.

Any help appriciated.

try to lower the lowpass to around 80

Low Pass is 35 to 250 I currently have it set a little less than have way? not sure where 80 would be? Also what about the Level input I mentioned above? thats 9v to 0.2v where should that be set using a RCA Module or just do that by ear?

80 would be a bit lower than 100 lol

gain can be done by ear, at least that's how i do it

LOL I know that.... I hate amp settings I have 35 to 250 with the dial. The dial being half way would put me about what?

well 250-35 is a spread of 215 so half would equal 107.5 you want it slightly lower than that.

Turn off the subsonic if you can, sealed doesnt even need it.

No bass boost and set your gains with a DMM - see the sticky at the top of the amplifiers section on "setting gains"
