Amp for a Type-R 1221D

I am looking into getting a new amp for my Type-R. I am currently using a Kenwood KAC-829 but i am not pleased. I am sure taht teh type-r has more capability than its preforming. I think its the amp. I am looking into the US Acoustic amps and they are looking well. Any other suggestions? or would the US do the trick. its soo true, thanks for the info though, im likin the looks of those US Acoustics, all good reviews ive seen too. Same if not better of the expensive Alpine i was thinkin about getting
