Amp for a pair of eclipse 88120 DVCs

I just bought a pair of eclipse 88120 DVCs (500/1000) and I need to find an amp to drive them. I was thinking about running them all together at 1 ohm or in 2-2ohm circuits. Is that better than one 4 ohm circuit? What amp(s) around $300 would power these bad boys.
