Amp for a 9512

Yeah, it's going to be for daily listening, not competitions. But i want to be really loud without the risk of blowing the sub. Again it's the MTX 9512.

i think they are giving you recomendations for the DD 9500 and not the MTX 9500. a kicker zx 1500 or a kx 1200 would be great kx i believe is the older version and you should be able to find it much cheaper than the zx line

No, sorry man. I forgot to pm you back. For around 350 i can get a brand new kicker zx1500.1 with warranty, bass remote, etc. But thank you for the offer and the great customer service. I will tell people that you are great to deal with, even though i have not bought from you.

$250? Damn, where at?

Correction 350 my mistake. Haha Sorry about that . But i figure i might as well buy a brand new amp that has bass remote (and whatever else) and warranty. That way i never have to buy another amp. Thanks

Mine is brand new, has warranty, has bass remote, is louder, and $50 cheaper? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

maybe a sundown 3000d
This is where I get get confused. Why would someone recommend an amp that makes that kind of power when you guys should know it takes all kinds of high dollar wire and upgrades to the electrical to make work. Guys this is the one reason I do not stock that particular amp, I WILL NOT sell that amp to just anyone, if you want it I want to talk to you about what your plans and goals are as well as what you have to make it actually work. When we get into kilo-watt territory we are getting serious and "i only want to spend $100" just doesn't cut it anymore.

Sorry to rain on your parade but lets think about it. Power is an awesome thing I am a firm believer that you can't have enough, but it takes power to make power.

Im not using this sub for competition, just for daily listening. I want this sub to last, i dont really want to beat the crap out of it all the time which i why im going with around 1500 watts. I have 0 gauge wire already.
