amp for a 15" Solo-Baric L7

i need some recommendations on what kind of amp i should use with a 15" Solo-Baric L7. Something cheap but not cheap, nothing more than like $350. thanks

I'm actually looking for the same thing pretty much. Not sure if I wanna run 12" or 15" though. Gotta keep some space in the trunk. I snagged a MTX 1500.1, I think it is, from a cuzzo of mine he said would push either & slap.

I'd like to throw in a few little questions also. When buying an amp is it safer to look at the 4 ohm rating rather than the 2 ohm rating? A guy told me its hard to really get 2 ohms of resistance. He 'says' he's got 15 G's (retail) in his 'Stang & he's still @ 2.8 or something.

Any help is appreciated.

it depends what ohm configuration your subs are. you could get down to under 1ohm with some configurations

It's called imp. rise. It's going to take place no matter what you wire your amp to.

What types of things effect the configuration? Lets say the amp is @ 2ohms & the subs I choose are dual voice coil 2ohm, would that be ideal? Got an example?

this is probley going to be a stupid question to you all but how do you get a amp at 1ohm? ohms is the only thing i dont understand when it comes to amps.
