Amp for a 12 IDMAX

I am using a 400watt alpine as of now but i feel that this sub can do more. I am just looking for something thats good, not too powerful and of course not too expensive. 2ohm at around 800-1000rms i think would do. I also like buying used stuff

I've never spent more than $150 on an amp, but im willing to change that for the right amp. I've never shopped for an amp with much power either so im not sure what they cost, prices would help.
