Amp for 3 solo 10s

Just wondering what kind of amp i would need to power 3 '04 solo baric 10s 4ohm do i need a large 1500 watt amp or can i go with something smaller.

whats the most effective ampi could use.

i would like to run them all at 500 watts or as close to their rms.

any help would be appreciated

^^^you can run them at .67 ohm's or 2.67 ohms.....you might beable to get away with using a 1 ohm stable amp....i have 3 dvc 4ohm subs and have them hooked to 2.67 ohms....i measured it and was exactly 2.8 ohms...

but personelly if you havnt allready bought them id stick with even # of subs to get the most out of a amp...

yeah but what kind of wattage am i gonna need is a rockford fosgate bd1500 gonna be enough or to much and how many watts would each speaker get if i did run that amp

I would look for a kicker amp to accompany them solos!

id get an amp that does like 1800-2000 watts at 2 ohms because your gonna run at like about 3 ohms so it'll be about 500/per sub and those subs can definately handle a little more than their power rating.

so any suggestions on an amp for this

i was thinking of getting the rockford fosgate bd1500 but if anyone has any suggestions im open to hear them just trying to get all this crap together and ready to be installed

thats a good choice...also check the mtx 1501bd...but i'd get the fosgate..the birthsheet on those things are rediculous

p.s...the only point i was trin to say is it would be better the get ann even amount of subs so u get the best out of your amp

can you explain why just the 2 subs would get the most out of my amp?

am i not gonna get 500 to each with the wiring set up and 3 subs. just wondering what you were saying by that?
