Amp for 2 Mofo 12's

I was thinking about getting 2 PA MOFO's 12's, but I've noticed that they only come on 2ohm dvc's and there rms is 1200, meaning I woulnd need an amp that puts out 2400rms @2ohms or 0.5ohms correct? I was wondering, what does everyone with 2 Mofo's use to run theres? I don't see many 0.5ohm stable amps, but there are 2ohms but for the amount of power needed, they seem to cost around $500+. It looks like the better choice would be to but 2 PA 2400db at around $250 each, what do you think?

I would personaly run 2 amps one on each sub at 1ohm

or run an autotek 3000.1 cause at 2 ohms mono it will do 3k rms

Your right about the autotek, but I'd rather pay $500 and get 2 2400db's, but thats pushing some seroius power, my whole electrical system is stock except the battery, so I know its know enough to power 4800watts. I'm probably going to get 1 PA 3000db or a similar 1ohm 2200-3000watt amp and 2 Premier 3004's for my next system. Does anyone know how they stack up to the Mofo's spl wise?

My car is a 2004 Monte Carlo stock except battery, you think thats enough to power a 3000db with just a Big 3 upgrade?
