Amp for 2 fi q 12 dual 1 ohm

My friend just blew his mtx amp. He needs a replacement amp that will run 2 fi q's. These are the dual 1 ohm version. When we tested the coils, they were reading at .80 each. What amp will be able to run daily with this configuration. He will be running them in a series-parallel configuration. The budget is at $600 max. Thanks for any replies.

Thanks. I will tell him about them. I have another question. Is it weird for the coils to have the .80 reading or is that normal. His mtx was suppose to be capable of running at a 1 ohm load but it only lasted for like 45 minutes at light to medium playing.

thats normal for FI subs....the audioque amp is a beast and will do just fine given your friend has a good electrical system
