amp for 15" MTX 9500?

Well friend of mine just bought a blazer and set aside some money for me to buy him a nice setup. He wants loud bass but not too many subs so i came across a 15" mtx 9500. The rms says 600 but im sure it could handle a lot more. What would be a sufficient amp to power one of those dogs?

Just curious. What makes you so sure it can handle more than 600W rms?
