amp cutting out

Ever since I put my sterio together my amp wasn't getting enough juice and cuts out. It's a Competion ag series 200 2 channel runnin 2 ts-w304c's bridged in parallel. I put another battery in this weekend just for subs and their still cutting out when u feed em volume. I heard that if I just wire up my subs on seperate channels it'll take less juice and increase my ohms . Is this true? I don't really want a capacitor.

a cap probably wouldnt solve your problem anyways....if your amps not getting enought power first thing is to make sure the power wire is big enough....2nd make sure that your alt puts out enough power for your amp....3rd make sure your subs are not wired at to low of an ohm load.....also make sure your gain is set properly....

my wires good...it's amp wire..can't remember what gauge though. My alternator went from a 65amp to a 105amp. and my gain is @ like 1/3 which shouldn't be a problem...don't know bout the ohm load though..should I try switching it around and see or not even worth it?

well what i would suggest doing is check the sticky at the top of the sub section....it talks about diff. ways to wire your subs.....it seems like your running to low of a load to your subs....

first all don't ever ever ever wire subs up in stereo you do not want this. second wire the subs in series to give you a likely 4 ohm load, also your amp could be clipping due to low signal output of your headunit, so it may have nothing to do with wiring

when the amp see ver low ohm load it starts cutting, and turning protection led on.

i guess thats it, cause it happened to me b4
