Amp cuts out

So here's my deal i have 2 kicker cvr 12's DVC4 wired to 4 ohms on a kicker 600.1 that does slightly under 300 rms at 4 ohms. Also just 2 days ago bought a new batt optima yellow top D34.

Now when i play songs the amp and bass cuts out some songs i can turn up high to 75% but others cant even get to 50% without cutting in and out especially songs with really low notes. Now i noticed my door and high beams dim at the same time when those bass notes cut out but i just bought a new batt. because i thot that would solve it?

Also this only happens when i have both RCA's in the input. When i only have one RCA in(left side) it can go higher but doesnt hit as hard.

I tried re grouding, new batt and hooked up amp to a set of alpines and same thing but i dont get how 300wrms is too much for my electrical??? i used to run 600wrms fine on two hfi's before they blew on a stock batt?

well your using the wrong amp for one. youre only sending those subs 150 a peice...plus ur cranking it and clipping the crap out of it im sure. buy new subs or a new amp

Gain is too high.

Obviously 300 watts isn't enough to make you happy, get a different amp or different subs.

Or both.

Well the gain is set at slightly under the halfway point(i know that doesnt mean half way up or half its rating) does clipping induce amp cutting out? I thought it just creates heat on subs and possibly blows them? Cuz when low bass notes hit at like 15/40 of volume it cuts would that be clipping? i nvr crank up past 75% of my max tho
