amp comes on then turns off

okay so heres the scoop. I have 2 kenwood subs pushin 600 watt rms and 1200 peak each. I have a jvc mono block arsenal amp that is pushing 700 watt rms bridged at 4 ohm. In the past i have had lots of problems with car audio and i was tired of dealing with it so i had line x pro audio rewire my whole car and put in my subs and speakers etc. that was about 2 weeks ago..the subs worked great the week after the installation but now whats happening is i will turn the volume up to about 5 on my head unit and then the subs/amp turn off. I also have a 1 fahrrad capacitor because my lights dimmed. I checked for loose wires but cant find the problem. I have a 2006 chevy cobalt Ls. Any suggestions would be helpful.

You lights shouldnt dim from that amount of draw.. Get your battery checked, you are having voltage drop issues. The cap might of caused the issues.

i'd start with checking speaker wire connections. sounds like a slight wire short. take it back to them, it should be warranty work (provided you didn't mess with anything).
