I was wondering if there is any way to attach the Pioneer xmp3 XM receiver to the Alpine ida-x305? I have tried a few different methods and nothing has worked. Reading the Alpine manual, it suggests that there are only 2 xm receivers that work with this radio. Is there anyway around that?

Usb port for example?

if you take the headphone out and connect to the AUX input, then yes you can.

KCA-121B will turn the Ai-Net jack into an AUX input.

The manual refers to XM receivers that are controlled by the head unit. Connect this like the manual suggests for an mp3 player.
