Amp capability (OHMS)

If I go with a PPI P1000.1, Which subs should I buy that will be compatible as far as 2D/4D? I can't honestly say I understand the difference between the two..yet

NOTE: Ill be running 2x 12's if that matters. 2x Sundown EV2-12's which are available in both dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm.

you want d4 and wire both subs to 1 ohm .

you need to wire each sub to 2 ohms then connect both subs together to get 1 ohm.
