Amp build question

Could it be possible that some amps are made in the same place, but named differently? Like a Toyota Camry and a Lexus ES are pretty much the same aside from the name and some bells and whistles. Could that maybe be the same with amps too?

The reason I ask is because there is this local shop called M&K electronics in Chicago. They sell good stuff as well as do quality installs and all of that. THey have these amps that are named Livewire. I have only seen them sold there. Build quality looks good, and the one guy that I know that uses one says he doesn't have any issues with it. Was just wondering could the inside be the same as say a Zapco, but with a different outer casing?

While I highly doubt its a zapco, it could definitely be similar if not identical to something else on the market.

It is very common that amp manufacturers use the same buildhouses, boards and or components.

That's what I meant the board mainly. The ones I'm talking about even take the 4 gauge in and ground like the autoteks do. Not that crimp then to the amp crap either.
