Amp, bridging?

Lets say the amp(2ch) puts out 1000 watts x1 @ 1ohm and the 2 subs are dual 4ohms wired in parallel into a 1 ohm load. Do I wire it directly + to + and - to - to only 1 channel? Or do I wire it like it is bridged? + from subs goes to + on channel 1 and - from subs go to - on channel 2? Im kind of getting myself confused here. Thanks!!!! first off, what 2 channel amp is this? i doubt it is stable at 1 ohm bridged. when you bridge a 2 channel, you hook positive on one channel and negative on the other channel. should be in your manual or even on the amp by the speaker terminals.

The amp is a monoblock amp, but it has 2 channels. It's the one listed in my sig (8001) that's why I'm confused because shouldnt a mono amp only have 1 channel?

i gotcha lol. it has 2 outputs too make it easier for wiring 2 subs. it is a mono block and is bridged internally. just hook each to each channel. a lot of companies do that to make it easier when wiring 2 subs.
