amp blew PICS

No it shows the gear means very little. Its not like SPL where you have to have enough coil to handle the power. But since it goes against what you think it must be flawed.

Now go away and do something productive.
im cooking some jerk chicken.. yummy..

i know it does becasue your masking in every way the distortion and the volume levels are so low the drivers are still well linear.

ill bet you MONEY i could do the same with cheap *** dayton classics..

real drivers that push the boundaries are built around low distortion so when output levels get higher they are still linear.

That's where you are lost. You are not accounting for the envirment. It will only allow so much before it says **** you. That's what you have to play with.

Nice I didn't know you could do that! I just checked my car and it sits around 700-800 rpm at idle. Must be electronically controlled?

I haven't actually revved like that at a light but now I kind of want to the next time a fast car pulls up next to me. I hope we stop at the next light again so he can be like... What the hell man I thought you wanted to race? Then I'd go, nah just charging my batts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Ford put a Taurus transmission in the windstar van..i have to make sure and wait for the rpms to simmer down before selecting Drive or it goes KLUNK!

Lol..The other day i was giving a friend a demo with, 'Pink Floyd ~ Comfortably Numb' (**1991), volume set full tilt...three seconds into the begining of the song the freakin light turns red! Okay. Its do or die...so i slip into nuetral gear and let it coast to the light and step on the gas. By the time that bass line hit you couldnt feel or hear the engine must of been 5000 rpms lol.

Cant play that track for too long tho its a stinker.

that ****** was truely loud. back in about 04 or so i walled it in a friends cars( he designed it for 2 3515s) and we tweaked it and did a 153.3 with on off two punch x7s @ 4ohm.. **** was epic. you could literatlly get in the box. for fun we put the meter in to box and it was way louder. we had people crawling inside the box and coming out DIZZY.. good times

So im getting the amp fixed, proce was $275, blown power supply and 16 mosfets. Local so i saved myself the shipping funds. Which wouldve been like $80 probably

And sure enough it was due to lack of power so indeed the truck bogging down and alternator dying was the cause of this.
