Sold them, the bass response was noticeably different from by bc5500, and from the sq3500. They sounded like budget amps and im not the only person who noticed so that made me decide to sell. After blowingthis i might just **** it up and go high end korean just will take time to save up the funds for a $1k+ amp

Could've gotten the VP 7k for $1k. Now the price has gone up

I always reduce my volume way down when I get to a stop light , If i am playing full tilt

for more than one reason

shoulda read that soundqubed public service announcement about the DD-1 not being a fail safe gain setting device. You always have to watch your sh*t and lower the volume at traffic lights along with adjusting volume levels depending on the song because each song has different output levels.

yeah when i demo'd his setup, the amps did have a different sound signature. Its just different, not his style of sound, it wasnt bad though imo compared to actual budget power amps like audiopipe and hifonics which sounds like dog sh*t

ZRS-C5 - Cadence 1 Ch 5100 Watt Competition Amplifier

thes are based off the very clean and solid cadence A7HC series. they are very clean and put out aton of power. granted they use the sanken bipolar outputs they aren't as efficient as the mosfet outputs but to me they are cleaner.

i tested them on 8 dual 2 15s and the dampening was excellent. rivals some class ABs. they are steep but they IMO are worth the money..

id compare them to the mmats amps and the sundown amps.

i think if i get into amps id use mosfet on hte swiching supply only and use an isolated bipolor output section. IMO they seem to handle the current demands better

i heard a soundqubed 1200.. and i had an old a7hc. i swear it was like going from pioneer to RF power..lol

im not gonna know them cuz they are good budget amp but i was more impressed with the lanzar vibe 1800(about 1300-1400 RMS) i couln't believe that cheap *** lil amp was pushing 4 15s.. lol

BTW i installed it for a friend on a DD 2515A i had it on my RD 1750 before and the RD was cleaner and louder buy a good deal. that lil RD did about 1900..

So its time to sell my SD 3800 for something that sounds better or will i really notice any difference?

And does a sq really sound better??
