WHATS A HOME THEATER?
are they trusthworthy? are they pricey? has anyone ever dealt with them?

i dropped of my truck today and their gonna check it out and give me pricing tommorow dont want them to fix it if theirs horro stories lol

how much might i be looking for getting my ****** rebuilt for a 98 ford explorer 5.0 i doubt its the ****** but im just saying worst case scenario

aamco is very pricey--at least in my towm--and on top of that i believe them to be crooked. they charged me 150 bucks to look at my ****** and then they couldn't even tell me what was wrong with it..

weird they put the diagnostic machine on mine and cleared all the trouble codes for free and they actually recomend that i chage the sensor myself to save money. and i did. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

good to see that someone didn't get bent. i went somewhere else and they hooked me up. i love the fact there are some ppl out there that have their honor still.
yah i was worried they might try to stiff me for the ****** and other crap. but they didnt they probably are to busy to mess around. i know the old place i worked for would always try to stiff people. and i would try to get him in trouble but dam customers where to scared! i worked as a mechanic for 4 years was never really good with diagnostics so this problem gave me a headache lol

i got one done in my 86 caprice...it was great...for the first 6 months. then i got this clunking sound...and i dropped the pan and there was shavings for about 1/4 inch....torque converter went bad AGAIN

keep in mind...the motor was a ZZ4...HEAVILY modded...383 stroker with rods, pistons, 850 CFM carb, basically everything you could do....and i had a corvette (matching...straight from summit catalog) ******...engine was pushing 400 hp at the crank...415/420 torque....the ****** was supposed to handle 780 when they rebuilt it for 1200 dollars.....not such luck

anyways, thats just my experience.

i reccomend them otherwise...tahts where all my vehicles have went. I did a 88 crx (manual) and they did it fine...absolutely NO problems. It had 182k miles on it when it was done and i put another 20k before i sold it...sooooo i would say they are good for the price
