American bass xd 15's?? look

I found the older model white letter cone xd's for teh cheap and they are rated at 250 rms, but have 2.5" coils? Will a pair take 900-1000 rms ported? Do they favor ported or sealed more? Thanks. If they wont take the power, ill just run 3.

go ported. and i highly doubt they will handle the power. three is your safe bet.
