Item(s) for Sale:

This listing is for an American Bass VFL 200.1.

Amp is in pristine condition, has never seen under a 12.9v draw, and hasn't been driven under 2ohm by me. It's beautiful, and 100% functional.

I've owned this thing for about 6 months (purchased here on the forum) and it's an amazing amp. It honestly sounds better than any amp I've ever used in my life (and I've been in car audio for 15+ years).

I just simply do not need the power this thing produces. I'm running it at 2ohm operation, and it should be used by someone that will run it opened up, full throttle, not by me running at 1/4th of it's capacity.

The specs for this amp are very difficult to determine. It was evidently banned from competition a few years back due to the manufacturer misrepresenting their specifications (they listed them as much lower than they actually are so they could be included in lower power classes, and evidently it bit them in the ***)

The specs (according to the manufacturer) are as follows:

3000W RMS @ 1ohm @ 12.5v

2000W RMS @ 2ohm @ 12.5v

1000W RMS @ 4 ohm @ 12.5v

I've heard they can hit well over 5000W RMS at .5 on a strong electrical system

I've also heard they are a quarter ohm stable.

I can't verify the above two facts.

I hope someone makes use of this wonderful amplifier.

No paypal

I'm open to trades. NOT for car audio gear though (I'm just not that into it as I was). Ideally, a part cash, part trade situation would be best. Things I'm into - computers (high end parts guys, not the PC you have sitting in the basement, in fact, no whole PC's, just parts that are high end, such as a Asus Xonar sound card w/ maybe 8 gig of DDR3 ram), electronics & gadgets, Home Audio equipment (specifically, a high end receiver, HDMI is a must), BP Vests (and associated items), etc.

The only thing I can think of that is car audio related that I would even remotely consider trading for would be a cheap in-dash dvd player and an amp to replace this one (as a combo, so maybe an MTX 81000D and an oldschool sony flip dvd deck, or something like that - clearly I'm not going to get something crazy high end, and this is NOT my preference, but I would be "open" to it)

Preference is cold hard cash - but would think of trades as a distant 2nd.

The reason no paypal is because I currently owe then around 400 dollars and just need the cash. My account is on hold. I sold a Home Theater receiver about 7 months ago and 3 weeks ago the guy disputed the charge saying his CCD was stolen. If you look up my ebay name, you'll see the transaction I'm talking about. I will probably win, but if I don't, I don't want the money going to Paypal for a transaction that I did nothing wrong in.

Just being honest. There are plenty of other ways to pay, money order, check, hell, mail me the cash. I can mail first depending on the person. I have friends and family in just about all 50 states, so I could mail it to one of them and you could pay them. We can figure it out.
