how is it that half the people selling used audio equipment have "only an hour of play" or some bs.
who the hell installs a multi thousand dollar stereo, listens to it for an hour, then tears it all out and sells it?

Your a jackass! I have a big *** DD 99Z18 that is just chillin in my car. I have a small *** 1200watt amp playing it b/c I dont feel like buying a new amp yet, and guess what? Ive only played music on it ALL YEAR for about 2 full hours, if that. I never drive the car, its built for shows only, so who installed a multi thousand dollar stereo and can tear it all apart in 1/2 a day and sell it all, I CAN! I could use that money to buy a new car, buy a boat, get a new BBQ grill or a pool table, whatever I wanna do i can. So re-think your posts before you say something this dumb. times are changing my fellow loud stereo listener, sometimes you have life changes. I knew someone who bought over 10k worth of products and never used any of it due to legal reasons, had to pay for a lawyer....another example
