Of you can do something other than the 4480, I would. Ppl have been having problems with this amp. You probably won't have any issues but the there is a better then average chance that you will with this amp.

Only get REAL VFL amps from american bass. No hybrid or phantom bullsh*t.

I've got a 4480. And have no issues ever and so have quite a few others For the price it's a good amp. The ph. Is a little cheaper quality Tko

the 4480 isnt a bad amp... it just isnt a great amp... i bought a few hybrid vfls when they came out... one was sent back straight out the box.. overall amps wasnt bad... extremely light and plasticy cheap feeling... but did alright.. i imagine if your not trying to drain the power out of it it will be ok... they did alright in my dads car where hes light on volume and gains .... and doesnt push his system at all...

*would i buy again sure.. if i needed a build that space restricted... as they were small......

Ive got a total of 4 4480.1s and all of them get down pretty dammned good.No problems out of mine.Ill be placing one on ea. XFL 12 in a wall being built as we speak.They need the proper power to shell out some juice. Dont expect to just throw one on stock electrical with a stock battery and nt doing the big 3 and expect miracles.Mine slamm like Donkey Christmas Kong.I wouldnt be placing or using if they werent doing what I want.Great amps in my opinion and experiencing. Ive also experienced with the 26801,and the 150.4, and all have been great amps,with no issues.

They can be picky..Just like babies..You need to feed them or result in whine and cry/damage to low voltage.
