Both wired in series would be 1 ohm and both wired in parallel would be .25 ohms.

Thats not completely correct on how to wire them. They can be wired to 4,1 or .25.Series will give you a 4 ohm. Voice coils on subs series and final wiring parallel gives you 1 ohm.

All +s together .25 ohms. + and - of opposite coils on each sub then remaining + and - gives you a 1 ohm. And to get 4 ohm

Yeah 4 ohm if you wired all VC's of both subs in a true series. Lol, slipped my mind because I never wire my setups in series usually just in either series/parallel or parallel.

Great sub, although, I would recommend putting it in a bandpass enclosure so you won't have to look at the dust cap.
